How can I help? #1 – physical needs

March 14, 2012 By Beverley Glick Leave a Comment

My first question to a new client is usually: “How can I help?” So I thought I’d start an occasional series that answers the question: “How can coaching help me?” The broad answer is: pretty much anything that’s bothering you about your life, except if you’re suffering from trauma, addiction, eating disorders, grief or depression, in which case you need therapy or counselling. The type of coaching … [Read more...] about How can I help? #1 – physical needs

Finding your life’s work

“Turn your wounds into wisdom…”

March 11, 2012 By Beverley Glick Leave a Comment

This is a well-known quote from Oprah Winfrey. Her words resonated for me because they seemed so appropriate to The Pearl Within - the idea that difficult experiences in your life can be transformed into wisdom, like the oyster that wraps a painful intruder in layers of lustre.  It took some research, however, to find out when she said “turn your wounds into wisdom”. In fact, it was … [Read more...] about “Turn your wounds into wisdom…”
