It might seem strange, but after touching on an intensely personal story about my father’s devastating stroke, I now feel more alive. On the way to a family get-together, I visualised a jack-in-the-box that had finally been let out, exploding into the air with a smile on its face. I decided to show my mother what I had … [Read more...] about How life can change in the flick of a horse’s tail…

How I let myself become an April Fool…

April 1, 2012 By Beverley Glick Leave a Comment

It’s a very good day to do some clearing out - mentally, physically and spiritually - in order to make space for fresh energy.  Now is the time to make plans, to nurture your vision - but not yet to act … [Read more...] about Hold on, spring hasn’t quite sprung…

How can I help? #2 – emotional needs

March 18, 2012 By Beverley Glick Leave a Comment

For the second in my series about what coaching can do for you (see the first one here), I’m going to expand on the subject of emotional needs. I’m posting this on Mothering Sunday, which I think is somehow appropriate.  No matter how we were parented, most of us grew up afraid of being labelled “needy”. But there is a difference between having needs and being needy. We are all born with … [Read more...] about How can I help? #2 – emotional needs
